We have recently become aware of certain individuals impersonating Gordian Capital Singapore via Telegram channels. Please be advised that these Telegram channels and their requests are fraudulent.

In these cases, members of the public received a Telegram invitation to join group chats where certain individuals would claim to be from Gordian Capital Singapore and would provide group members with a list of tasks to complete to earn “rewards”. These individuals would likely ask for the group members’ personal information such as bank account details, phone numbers, email addresses and etc.

Please be aware that Gordian Capital Singapore does not and will not solicit customers or potential customers via Telegram or any other form of social media. Gordian Capital Singapore is a licensed fund manager regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to carry on the business of fund management only in respect of accredited/institutional investors and does not deal with retail investors. 

If you receive a message from someone on a social media platform claiming to be from, or affiliated with, Gordian Capital Singapore and is requesting such information, it is most likely a fraud or scam. Please note that Gordian Capital Singapore is not responsible for any transactions which occur as a result of such requests. 

To protect yourself from falling prey to such fraud or scam, we advise that you:

 • Never provide personal or financial information to someone you do not know or trust.

 • Always verify the identity of the person or company you are dealing with before giving out any information.

 • Do not click on any links or download any attachments in suspicious emails or messages.

 If you suspect you may have been exposed to, or are a victim of, such fraud or scam, please report it to the police immediately.
